Parking is available in the South Forest Avenue Parking structure. Metered parking may be available on State Street, Tappan Avenue, or East University Avenue. For additional details, see the Downtown Development Authority's website.Handicapped-permit parking spaces are located in the driveway to the west of the library, off of South University Avenue. The northwest entrance (closest to Hatcher Graduate Library) is equipped with an automatic door operator. The northeast entrance also has a handicap activation push button.
Elevators in the main lobby allow access to all floors.
Wheelchair-accessible computers are located in the main study area of the first floor, just through the glass doors from the lobby.
The James Edward Knox Center Adaptive Technology Computing Site, located in room 2064, also contains nine workstations to meet the needs of individuals with temporary or ongoing physical, visual, or learning impairments..
Wheelchair-accessible restrooms can be found on every floor.
Navigating the Stacks
The stacks are largely accessible, but staff are available to assist any patrons who need help retrieving items.
There are handicap study areas available on all floors. The group study rooms on the second floor are also wheelchair-accessible.
