Scans for Urgent Patient Care

Michigan Medicine Ann Arbor Medical Campus staff who need articles for a clinical emergency or to assist patients currently under care can place an urgent patient care scan request.

We attempt to fill these requests within 2 hours. If it’s not available through our local collection, we’ll request it from another institution.

Immediately after submitting an urgent patient request, please call us at 734-764-8584 to expedite it. If our office is closed, leave a voicemail message with your uniqname and transaction number and we will handle it as soon as we open. 

We will notify you via email when your scans are ready for download. They are delivered electronically as PDFs and stored on our servers for a limited time.
