Health Sciences

We provide high-quality information in a variety of formats that support study and research in the health sciences.

For collecting purposes, we pay special attention to the research, teaching, and clinical practice needs of the University of Michigan Medical School and its hospitals and institutes; the schools of Dentistry, Nursing, Kinesiology, and Public Health; and the College of Pharmacy.

Our collection includes access to a vast number of clinical support tools, journals, and databases, from the the Anatomage Table to AccessMedicine, Nursing Reference Center Plus, and DynaMed Plus.

Contemporary textbooks and journals are electronic only, though we do have historical print materials available by request. Our kinesiology print collection is available at Hatcher Library.

Important related collections

The Special Collections Research Center holds a number of archival materials relevant to the study of health sciences, such as the history of medicine collection.
