How do I find out what journals are online?

Mirlyn Library Catalog links to all online resources including journals, books, databases, etc. For journals, from the pull-down menu select "Journal/Serial Name ...", then check the box labled "Limit to Available online" to see only those titles availabe over the internet.

Enter a journal title and you will see a list of matching items.  If you checked the "Limit to Available online" box, all of the journals will have a note just under the title stating "Available Online".  Below that, in the column labeled "Status" there will be a link labeled "Available Online" leading to the content for the journal.  For more detailed holdings information you can click on the title you want and look in the holdings section for a link to online content. Note that in Mirlyn information on our print copies of the journals is available as well.

The Online Journals search feature in Search Tools is a convenient way to find online journals. Note that you can also browse journals by title or subject category (see links in left column). If your journal isn’t listed, be sure to check Mirlyn just to verify that it isn’t online, and you can also find which libraries have print copies available.
