Request Modifications for Accessibility

If you are a current student, faculty, or staff member and encounter library materials in a format that you can’t use due to an accessibility accommodation need, our team can help.

We can locate an accessible version or remediate materials on request. This applies to digital documents, audio recordings, and video materials. We may impose limits or prioritize requests for those with a registered accommodation need if fulfillment impacts our ability to provide effective and equitable service.

Other campus offices support accommodation needs for materials not available through the library. Students: contact Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD). Faculty and staff: contact the Disability Equity Office (DEO).

What we can do

For digital documents, we can add structural tags and image descriptions, and convert material into another file format.

For audio and audiovisual material, we can add captions, transcripts, and descriptions.

Request modified library materials

Our accessibility remediation program staff will respond within 2 business days.
