For Help Contact
First floor: Information Desk, (734) 936-3191.
Second floor: Reference Desk, (734) 647-5735; Circulation and Reserves, (734) 647-5747.
All exterior entrances are equipped with automatic door operators. The entrance from the Pierpont Commons connector doesn’t have them — but the doors are usually open during business hours. There is also an accessible door on the Duderstadt side of the connector.
Elevators on the north side of the building serve only the basement, first and second floors.
To reach the third floor from the north side, take the elevator to the second floor and then use the elevators on the east side of the building — which are to the left of the Circulation and Reserves Desk and through the glass doors. The west elevator can also provide access to the third floor.
All computer workstations are wheelchair-accessible.
Navigating the Stacks
Some aisles in the basement are not wide enough for wheelchairs. Staff from Circulation and Reserves are available to assist any patrons who need help retrieving items. A campus phone is located on the side of the basement help desk.
Wheelchair accessible study areas are available on the second floor. Private study rooms on the second floor are also available by advanced reservation
All public restrooms are designed for wheelchair access.
