About the space

You’ll find an atmosphere ranging from quiet to conversational on floor 3 of the Duderstadt Center, which is mostly the Art, Architecture, and Engineering Library. Tables among the book stacks are quieter, while those closer to computing areas may have more noise.

There is a variety of seating on this floor including large tables with rolling chairs, individual desks, some couches, lounge chairs, tall counters, and comfortable pods with individually controlled lamps.

The floor also has large computing areas on the outer perimeter of the floor in both the northeast and southwest corners. These include computers and printing as well as areas of “laptop only” stations with extended displays.
