I repair books that are in the University of Michigan Library Book repair unit. The responsibility of Book repair is to maintain the items in the circulating collection of the University Library. The basic duties can include small repairs ( mending torn pages) reattaching loose pages, correcting spine information, re-cases, mold treatment and staple binding. The libraries that I serve are AAEL, Asia, Buhr, Clark, Fine Arts, Museum, Music and Taubman. I started in Bookbinding at Edwards Brothers from 1983 - 1999 Then worked at the University of Michigan Printing services from 1999 - 2006 and then I joined the University of Michigan Library.
