I began my career with the U of M Book and Paper lab as an intern during my senior year at the Penny W. Stamps School of Art and Design. After graduating I went on to intern at other labs and gained employment with the Henry Ford Museum. In 2016 I was able to land my dream job back at UMich as a conservation technician. I perform treatments on book and paper objects in the Special Collection Research Center so that these materials are in a stable condition and can be used by patrons of the library. I am also involved with exhibition preparation and installations throughout Hatcher, working with the curators of the SCRC.
