I work in the Reserves/Access Services department of the AAEL. In addition to working at the circulation desks and handling general circulation matters, I'm overseeing and processing Course Reserves, ordering/purchasing Course Reserve books, training staff and students, processing students time sheet and payroll, sales, deposits and budget issues.
My ethnic background is Armenian and I came to United States from Russia in August 1998. I have a BS in Economics and Organization of Machine Production Industry from Azerbaijan Petrochemical Institute Baku, Azerbaijan and a Certificate in Accounting from Washtenaw Community College Ypsilanti, MI. I have been with the library since September 1998. Started as a temporarily student assistant, after one year I became a student supervisor. In August 2000 I was promoted to full time position as a stacks coordinator. In September 2008 my duties have changed.
I'm on the ALEPH development testing committee.
