Interlibrary Loan Lending

Interlibrary Loan Lending makes materials available from the University of Michigan Library to academic, public, government, and non-profit libraries.  Loans are available to corporate and law-firm libraries as well.

To borrow materials from the Law Library (EMI/MIUL) please contact them directly.

We accept requests through OCLC, DOCLINE, Rapid, UBorrow, and via our website.

Copies over 50 pages: $0.25/page past first 50
Microform surcharge: $1.00/impression
No additional per-page charges for copies from an electronic source.

US and Canadian institutions are charged the same rates.
International Loans beyond Canada are charged at a flat rate of 4.5 IFLA or $50 USD, shipping included.

Note on payment by invoice: Invoices are issued the month after the request has been filled. We accept payment by credit card, institutional check, and money order. Checks should be in US dollars and made out to 'University of Michigan'.
