About the space

The main type of seating on floor 2 is large rectangular tables and wooden chairs. They fill an open area on the south end of the floor near large windows and additional groups of tables break up the rows of book stacks.

There is less natural light on the floor as you move from the open area toward the central stairs, but you’ll find a small selection of cushioned bench seating there among the leisure reading collection

12 bookable study rooms are available in the southwest corner of the floor. There’s also a glassed-in Mac Lab campus computing site near the center of the floor.

This floor attracts a mixture of group study and individuals working alone, so the noise level varies.
