I am an Informationist at the Health Sciences Libraries at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor Michigan. My liaison departments are Human Genetics, Molecular & Integrative Physiology, Department of Psychiatry and Depression Center, and Pubmonary and Critical Care Medicine. I also provide support for compliance with the National Institutes of Health Public Access Policy and Open Researcher and Contributor ID.
I received my Bachelor of Arts. degree from Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan and my Master of Arts in Library Studies degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor Michigan.
I am Past President of the Michigan Health Sciences Libraries Associaion, Past Chair of the Research Section of the Medical Library Association, Section Council Liaison to the Continuing Education Committee of the Medical Library Association, and President of the Michigan Chapter of the Special Libraries Association.
I am a member of the Medical Library Association, the Midwest Chapter of the Medical Library Association, the Michigan Health Sciences Libraries Association, Michigan Academy of Science, Arts, and Letters and Special Libraries Association.
Besides my informationist responsibilities I teach several classes on the software program EndNote. In addition, I am available for consultations and small sessions for EndNote instruction . I provide instruction on searching Medline via PubMed and ISI Web of Knowledge. I also provide assistance relating to grant preparation. I have provided support and lecture on the National Institutes of Health Public Access Policy.
