About me

My work is project-based, and varies from day to day. I support my library colleagues by managing various aspects of our Library Services Platform, Alma, including troubleshooting tickets that come in through our ticketing system TeamDynamix. Issues I support often relate to fulfillment, record and user loads, metadata, report generation, and user management. My main professional interest is in effective, sustainable IT project management. I believe in diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. I believe in kindness, critical thinking, and being accountable to one's words and actions when they cause harm to others. I believe these are values that should be evident in everything we do, and should be boxes to check off to meet someone else's arbitrary set of standards. I am a member of the SACUA Information Technology Committee (ITC) and currently provide project management support for a number of projects in the library.

In my free time, I enjoy attending Tigers baseball games with my spouse, running after my retired racing greyhound and our 3 cats. I also enjoy sewing, leatherworking, writing poetry, and writing/performing music with my band. I collect local music memorabilia, particularly memorabilia related to underground DIY music in the punk, screamo, hardcore, and metal subgenres. Ask me about playing Gaelic sports! From April-October, I play with the Cleveland Saints Camogie (kah-MOH-ghee) team, and with Ann Arbor's own co-ed hurling team.
