I work in the production unit for Publishing Services in Michigan Publishing at the University of Michigan Library, where I oversee the production of 40+ academic journals in both Michigan's open access journals program and open access journals programs for external clients. I supervise journal issues from initial document stage through copyediting, typesetting, cover design, to final digital (and occasional print) publication and distribution, while communicating frequently with clients and vendors, setting production schedules, and ensuring deadlines are met.
