As an informationist, I provide expert guidance to health sciences students, researchers, instructors and clinicians in finding and organizing information. I work most closely with the School of Nursing, the College of Pharmacy, and the Otolaryngology, Dermatology, Pharmacology, Neurology, and Neurosurgery Departments. My areas of professional interest include literature synthesis methodology (such as systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and scoping reviews), advanced searching of the health sciences literature, and citation management. 

I hold a master's in library and information science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a BA with honors from Stanford University. Before joining the University of Michigan, I spent 4 years as an academic librarian in Cairo, Egypt.
