I completed my graduate education at the University of Michigan's School of Information in 2010 and started at the Art, Architecture and Engineering Library in late summer 2017. Previously I was the Digital + Emerging Technology Librarian at Kettering University in Flint, a school full of engineers.
My undergraduate degree is in Film + Video with an emphasis in animation from Grand Valley State University in West Michigan, where my family is located.
After undergrad I spent three years the Kingdom of Lesotho in Southern Africa in the Peace Corps, where I was an HIV/AIDS Advisor. My service culminated with a trip up the eastern coast of Africa, visiting ten countries, three islands, and some mountain gorillas and giant tortoises for good measure.
I support the teaching and research needs in the following Engineering departments:
- CLaSP: Climate and Space Sciences + Engineering
- CSE: Computer Sciences + Engineering
- NERS: Nuclear Engineering + Radiological Sciences
And the following Engineering programs:
