My primary areas of responsibility are Withdrawals & Transfers. When a book needs a permanent new home, it makes a pit stop on my desk to make the transfer or the withdrawal official. I also handle item evaluation and/or disposal. I find valuing our outgoing rare books the most exciting and fascinating component of what I do. Earliest books to come across my desk? A 4 volume set printed in the 1700s, bound in vellum. A true thrill.
