Unlocking dissertations

The library is partnering with the Rackham Graduate School to make 150 years of graduate scholarship at U-M into an open and accessible public resource. 

Charles Watkinson, director of the University of Michigan Press and associate university librarian for publishing, says the project is building a “dynamic, accessible, and measurable global resource,” and early results show U-M dissertations are “among the university’s most powerful tools for global impact.”
