Fines for overdue items

Overdue fines are charged for high-use materials that are returned late.

  • Course Reserves items: $1 per hour, per item
  • Overdue recalls: $2 per day, per item

This policy is intended to encourage returning materials on time so they are available for all who need them.

Fines accumulate regardless of whether the library is open or closed.
