U-M Alum Lawrence Kasdan has been a force in the film industry since writing the scripts for the blockbusters "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and "The Empire Strikes Back." His papers are now part of the Special Collections Research Center’s Mavericks & Makers Collection. Get a sneak peek at some of the items currently being processed, including scripts, props, photographs, documents, and posters from some of his directorial works, such as Body Heat, The Big Chill, Silverado, Grand Canyon, and Dreamcatcher.
Join us (on the 6th floor of Hatcher) for Third Thursdays at the Library, a themed monthly open house where we share materials from our collections. While you’re here, pick up a passport and collect a stamp from each of the four Third Thursday Open Houses — Asia Library, Clark Library, International Studies, and Special Collections Research Center — to win a poster!
