Instructors teaching courses at the University of Michigan are invited to include the following statement on their syllabi in order to inform their students about copyright and academic integrity.

Your work as a student at the University of Michigan will often involve considerations related to copyright and academic integrity. 

The library's guide to Copyright Basics provides information about your rights and obligations under copyright law. You can also contact the Library Copyright Office at copyright@umich.edu or visit their website to sign up for an appointment.
