Bookable Rooms and Carrels

While building access is limited due to COVID-19, you may reserve individual study space in the Shapiro Library for up to 4 hours per day.

Reserve a space to focus on your own, do a phone interview, or work with a group. 

Spaces across campus

  1. Hatcher Bookable Carrels

    Enclosed booths with a desk, a chair, and a view.

  2. Shapiro Bookable Study Rooms

    These rooms on the second floor have adjustable tables, rolling chairs, and whiteboards.

  3. Art, Architecture, and Engineering Library Collaboration Rooms

    Small rooms you can book up to 3 days in advance.

  4. Fine Arts Library Carrels

    Reserved for graduate students in art history.

  5. Music Library Carrels

    Intended for advanced research and writing.
