Film production documents, photographs, and a magical two-dollar bill will chronicle the thirty-plus-year friendship between directors Robert Altman and Alan Rudolph, two lynchpins of the library's Screen Arts Mavericks & Makers collections. These materials reflect their personal and professional collaboration, beginning with "The Long Goodbye," through "Nashville," "Welcome to L.A.," "Remember My Name," "Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle," "Afterglow" and "Trixie." Alan Rudolph will be on site in conjunction with his visit to campus as part of the Joshua Bilmes Visiting Filmmaker series.
Join us in the Special Collections Research Center (on the 6th floor of Hatcher) for Third Thursdays at the Library, a themed monthly open house where we share materials from our collections.
While you ’re here, pick up a Third Thursday Passport and collect a stamp from each of the three Third Thursday Open Houses — the Clark Library, International Studies, and Special Collections Research Center — to win a prize.
