About me

I work with library professionals, students, faculty and other researchers to support data management planning and implementation across the research process. Most of my work is focused on helping researchers working in Humanities, Social Sciences and Medicine prepare to share and archive their research products in the University of Michigan’s Deep Blue repositories. I am available for consultations with individuals, labs or teams, and departments -- book an appointment with me here.

I am particularly interested in data ethics and accessibility as well as repositories as storehouses for cultural heritage, and opportunities to engage with other cultural heritage organizations, and with research communities who may be undersupported in data management, dissemination, and preservation. I am currently co-chairing the Research Data Access and Preservation (RDAP) Association's working group on Digitally Accessible Data and Data Repositories, which will be releasing a report on Accessibility as addressed in the 2024 Title II Rulings, and data. I am also very excited to share a recent report I helped co-author on reparative description in repositories (and the Deep Blues specifically).

I hold an MLIS and an MA in Museology, and a BA in English Literature and Latin.

I currently work completely remotely from the west coast; please contact me by email, phone (734) 764-2203 or make an appointment for a consultation.
