I work in the production unit for Publishing Services in Michigan Publishing at the University of Michigan Library, where I oversee the production of 40+ academic journals in our open access journals program and manage book production for our in-house imprints and distributed clients. I supervise books and journal issues from initial document stage through copyediting, typesetting, cover design, to final digital and print publication and distribution, while communicating frequently with clients and vendors, setting production schedules, and ensuring deadlines are met.
