I began working for the University in October of 2000, in the Preservation Department after working in Northwestern University's Preservation Department in Evanston, Illinois. I am a scanning technician in the Digital Conversion Unit within the Library Information Technology department. I work on the SupraScan Quartz and the CopiBook V scanners, focusing on rare and fragile books, and larger forms such as foldouts and posters. I have a Fine Arts degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
