I have worked at the Shapiro Undergraduate Library since January 2000, and during that time have focused on library instruction, student outreach, and reference services. I lead the initiatives that reside under the Student Engagement Program, including Student Mini Grants, Engagement Fellows, and Student Ambassadors. My research interests include library instruction assessment, the importance of high impact learning practices, and the first year experience. I have a Library and Information Science Degree from Kent State University, and a B.A. and M.A. in English Literature from The University of Toledo.
