About me

I joined Technical Services in June 2020 as the Library Services Platform Training Manager, as part of UM Library's platform migration from Aleph to Alma. In 2026 I moved to LIT-AIM in same role, managing the ongoing development and maintenance of library-wide Alma training. My responsibilities entail outlining a multi-level plan to provide learning opportunities related to LSP use, digital accessibility alignment, and future learning development for all library employees.

I engage in the following:

  • Unit workflow examination and revision in partnership with staff and managers.

  • Development and implementation of small group and peer-based training opportunities, and maintenance of our Canvas course.

  • Collaboration with subject area experts to address training needs for individual library units.

  • Co-chairing the Alma Coordinating Committee, the decision-making body of Alma-related issues.

Committees and Teams:

Alma Coordinating Committee (co-chair FY26), Library E-Learning Committee (co-chair FY26), Instruction Steering Committee (member FY26) Management Development Committee (member FY26), Mental Health SIG (member FY25)

Education:

M.A. in Information & Learning Technologies, University of Colorado, Denver, CO (2017)

B.S. in Education, Marywood University, Scranton, PA (2001)
