M.A. in Information & Learning Technologies, University of Colorado, Denver, CO (2017)
B.S. in Education, Marywood University, Scranton, PA. (2001)
Post undergrad, I completed a year of service in Colorado with AmeriCorps and continued on as a 5th grade teacher within my service district . After segueing into the library world, I worked for four years with the Denver Public Library. I moved to Ann Arbor in the fall of 2008 and started working at the Buhr Remote Shelving Facility in 2009. My time there was split between Buhr stacks responsibilities and processing materials selected for the Michigan Digitization Project.
I joined the Special Collections Research Center in 2014. My primary responsibilities include processing current serials, collection and catalog record maintence, implementing student training and managing the flow of materials to and from Technical Services, Conservation/Preservation and Digital Library Production Services. Additionally, I spend time on collection-related projects in our new offsite storage facility located on north campus. My main objectives are to maintain efficient workflows between involved departments and to provide access to materials for our campus community.
