Remote Access

Access online library resources no matter where you’re working. When not using a campus computer, MWireless, or MWireless-UMHS, your U-M credentials serve as an all-access pass

To take advantage of our resources, be sure to start your search on our website, or in Library Search. You can also use one of the following options:

Alumni and retired staff and faculty

Our subscription agreements limit most online resources to current students, faculty, and staff, but you may have other options.

  • Alumni can join the U-M Alumni Association for access to limited resources
  • Emeriti faculty are considered current faculty and can use their U-M credentials for online access
Not eligible for access? If you’re a Michigan resident, you can use Michigan eLibrary eResources with a valid Michigan driver’s license, state ID number, or library card number issued from a public library in the state.
