Serving as an Electronic Transition Specialist for one year, she will be working closely with Duncan Aldrich (see August 15 Administrative Notes, v. 17, #11) to assist the Library Programs Service in making the transition to a more electronically based Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP). In order to ensure that the FDLP can provide permanent access to Government electronic information products, Sandy will work on forging partnerships between GPO and Federal agencies. Sandy has been active in the public policy arena. She worked for 10 years on Capitol Hill and was most recently Director of Government Relations for the Special Libraries Association.
