NEEDS AND OFFERS LIST NEEDS NEW EDITOR

        The editor of the Needs & Offers List is interested in turning
over preparation of the list, preferably to someone with the expertise and
facilities to manage the list as a listserv, or through some other mode of
electronic distribution.  As there are other online disposal lists, it
would not be completely reinventing the wheel.   There is no definite time
deadline, as the current editor, George Carlson, is willing to continue
with the list until an electronic version can be implemented.  Carlson,
who has conscientiously produced the list regularly for the last 4 years,
says he will be pleased to help in any way to effect the transition.  If
