All databases are available as ASCII text files, and most databases also provide ADOBE Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF) files. Users with the free Acrobat Reader software can display and print typeset pages, including embedded graphics. For some 1994 databases and those with no equivalent printed product, graphics are provided as individual files in TIFF format. Timely - Most databases are updated by 6 a.m. daily. The Congressional Record is usually available by 11 a.m. depending on when Congress adjourns the previous day.
