       THE MESSAGE BELOW IS FROM ADMINISTRATIVE NOTES,
       VOL. 16, #15  (Nov. 15, 1995).


       NEW CONTRACTOR PRODUCING BOUND CR IN MICROFICHE

          A new contractor has been chosen to produce
       the Bound Congressional Record in microfiche: B&B
       Information and Image Management.  Libraries
       selecting item 0993-A will begin receiving
       microfiche from this contractor in the near future.

          The previous vendor, Information Resources,
       Incorporated (IRI) is in default for contract
       0823-S.  This company experienced persistent
       problems in producing and distributing the
       microfiche since the contract began early in June
       1995.  Depository libraries should continue to make
       claims for problem microfiche from IRI as
       necessary.
