Lynne Raughley
About
I currently serve as Communications Director, and my primary aim in that role is to make better known the innovative, diverse, and groundbreaking activities of this great research library.
Background
I have a BA in political science from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MA in creative writing from Boston University. I worked in academic publishing for several years (primarily at Harvard University Press) and then embarked upon a decade-long freelance writing and editing career before joining the Library's Marketing and Communications office. Along the way I taught creative writing at Boston University and the University of Oregon and worked at a Borders Books and Music in Atlanta, Georgia.
Responsibilities
I am responsible for the Library’s external communications, and for the maintenance and extension of the MLibrary brand and visual identity.
I maintain the MLibrary Communications office blog, MLibrary Chatter, and its Twitter feed, @MLibraryComm.
