I am a Informationist at the Health Sciences Libraries at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor Michigan. My liaison departments are Human Genetics, Family Medicine, Urology, Department of Psychiatry and Depression Center, and Pubmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
I received my B.A. degree from Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan and my A.M.L.S. degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor Michigan.
I am President of the Michigan Health Sciences Libraries Associaion and Chair-elect of the Research Section of the Medical Library Association.
I am a member of the Medical Library Association, the Midwest Chapter of the Medical Library Association, the Michigan Health Sciences Libraries Association, Michigan Academy of Science, Arts, and Letters and Special Libraries Association.
Besides my informationist responsibilities I teach several classes on the software program EndNote. In addition, I am available for consultations and small sessions for EndNote instruction . I provide instruction on searching Medline via PubMed and ISI Web of Knowledge. I also provide assistance relating to grant preparation. I have provided support and lecture on the National Institutes of Health Public Access Policy.
