About
My primary responsibilities include:
- developing policies, establishing priorities, resolving problems, and designing procedures to improve and expedite access to Special Collections material;
- directing and supervising the work of staff and students responsible for retrieving and monitoring the use of material requested by patrons, readying material for cataloging and shelving, and facilitating the flow of material to and from other Library units and locations; and
- serving as liaison for Special Collections with Technical Services, Digital Library Production Services, the Michigan [Google] Digitization Project, and other units across the Library.
Background
I have a BA from Mount Holyoke College, where I studied French and Russian, and an MILS from the University of Michigan.
