About me

I manage Document Delivery's services for University of Michigan patrons, overseeing Interlibrary Loan Borrowing, Local Document Delivery, and Departmental Delivery. External patron services are under Amy Lucas (MeLCat, Interlibrary Loan Lending). I am also the SHARES liaison for the library.

I started at the University Library as a student assistant, opening mail for Tech Services, and have since worked in every aspect of our wide-ranging resource sharing department, including the former fee-based information service, MITS, and driving the delivery car. (We have a van now!) I've also worked in course reserves.

I am currently chairing the ALA RUSA STARS Interlibrary Loan Codes and Guidelines committee, where we created national scanning standards for resource sharing to support the changes to Title II, and are currently working on recommendations for emergency planning for resource sharing consortia. I have previously served on the OCLC RLG SHARES Executive Group and the ALA RUSA STARS Rethinking Resource Sharing Policies Committee, and chaired the ILL Coordinators Peer Group for the Big Ten Academic Alliance (2025-2026).

I also write children's books and speculative fiction short stories as Merrie Haskell.
