Electronic Imaging Technician
I began working for the University in October of 2000, in the Preservation Department after working in Northwestern University's Preservation Department in Evanston, Illinois. In 2006, when we joined DLPS, I became a scanning technician, focusing on rare and fragile books, as well as other images in poster and map form.
I have a Fine Arts degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where I majored in Painting and Drawing. My current work is in Fiber Arts, using beaded embroidery, applique and various forms of fiber work, based in early American women's work, Native American arts, and medieval and ancient imagery, craft and art.
