Chase's role at the Taubman Health Sciences Library includes consulting with library faculty on providing evidence-based instructional design, assisting in the development of instruction using multiple modalities, as well as identifying and building partnerships with instructional technology units throughout the university community. Outside of his responsibilities at Taubman, Chase also co-leads the U-M Mobile Users Group and is an active member of many special interest groups at U-M.
Chase's expertise is in technology, instructional design, and multimedia. He earned his bachelor of science in technology and master of education degrees from Bowling Green State University. Prior to joining the Curriculum Integration and Innovation team at the Taubman Health Sciences Library in 2014, he was an Instructional Technology Consultant at LSA Instructional Support Services for five years.
