About
I'm the Head of Access Services for the Art, Architecture & Engineering Library. It is my job to ensure that all services offered, meet their daily, weekly, and long term goals. One of our most important goals is to make sure our patrons are receiving the very best service possible. Access Services offers Circulation, Reserves, and Study Room reservation services. Digital Media Commons items (DVDs, flash drives, mini video cassettes, fire cables etc) and copy cards are also sold in Access Services.
Background
I am a graduate of Albion College. Albion is a small and very challenging private liberal arts college. I received my degree in 1998. When I finished school, I immediately accepted a position at the University of Michigan's Art Architecture & Engineering Library as an Access Services assistant. I became the supervisor of the Shelving Department at the Taubman Medical Library 14 months later. In October of 2006, I became manager of Reserves and Circulation for the Taubman Medical, Dentistry, and Public Health libraries. In December of 2009, I returned to the Art, Architecture & Engineering Library as the Head of Access Services.
