I've worked at the intersection of academic libraries, digital publishing, design, and the web since 2008. 

I joined Michigan Publishing in 2012. In my role, I focus on making it easier for people to find, use, and re-purpose digital scholarship, especially ebooks and innovative digital publications. I apply inclusive design practices and specialize in front-end web development, user research, interface design, web and ebook accessibility, and accessible digital publishing workflows for academic publishers. In addition, I oversee web accessibility initiatives for Michigan Publishing's websites, digital products, ebooks, and hosted services.

Some of the projects I'm actively involved with include Fulcrum (codebase), a Mellon-funded, Samvera-based digital publishing platform and creating and maintaining born-accessible publishing workflows. I'm a member of the Library's Accessibility Steering Committee and the Library Web Content Coordinators Group, and lead Michigan Publishing's Accessibility Working Group.
