Curator of the Labadie Collection, part of the Special Collections Library, located on the 7th floor, south building, Hatcher Graduate Library.

Background

From 1994-2000 I served as Assistant Curator of the Labadie Collection.  In 2000 I was appointed Curator.  I received my library and archival training from Wayne State University.

Responsibilities

Collection development and management, answering all research inquiries, interpretion and access to the collection’s holdings, administration of annual acquisitions budget, participation in regional and national professional conferences, working with donors, installation of original exhibits, management of digitization projects of collection materials, updating and editing collection website.
