Graduated with a Bachelors degree in Sociology and Psychology from Concordia University in Ann Arbor Michigan; a second Bachelors degree in Women and Gender Studies at the University of Michigan Dearborn. Currently enrolled at Wayne State University School of Information. Joined the Library system in 1998. Spare time is spent volunteering and running a non-profit organization which was created as a senior thesis to complete undergraduate degree. Awarded the Student Activism award from the SWS - Sociologist for Women in Society for the non-profit work and the IDOL Fellowship through Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Program and Wayne State University.
Access Services Coordinator for the Music Library. Manages the student staff and maintains statistics for the collection and reports back to Head of the Music Library. Supervises and coordinates library services to meet the informational, educational, and research-related needs of students and faculty.
