About me
As a member of the Library's senior management team, I contribute to Library-wide strategic planning, with a primary focus on our various collection services. My current responsibilities include overall management of the Library’s materials budget and collection development strategy, and I lead a group of library departments that are all focused on creating and preserving access to information resources, in all languages, subjects and formats: Preservation Services, Document Delivery, Technical Services, the Special Collections Research Center, and the Papyrology Collection.
After earning degrees in French history from Princeton University and from the University of Michigan, I worked for 18 years in a variety of public service roles at the Hatcher Graduate Library, particularly in the areas of History, European Studies and Religion. I served as Coordinator of Collection Development for the Hatcher Graduate Library (2001-2007), then Collection Development Officer for University Library (2007-2011), and have been active in several academic and library associations, particularly the European Studies Section of the Association of College and Research Libraries.
