The short answer is to try the following:
- PubMed has a Citation Matcher (in the left sidebar) which searches the biomedical literature. Insert a few pieces of information in the appropriate boxes, e.g., an author’s last name, a title word, a beginning page number. If your article is found, click on the underlined authors and then the MGet It icon to see if full-text is available. If no article is found, try:
- Citation Matcher, which searches literature from many disciplines. If article is not found, try:
- Searching for the journal in the Mirlyn Library Catalog. Use “Journal/Serial Name begins with” from the drop-down box.Even if neither 1 nor 2 work UM may actually have it the journal online or you can find out which libraries own it in print.
