Copy Services
Self-Service Copiers
The Music Library has three self-service photocopiers, all located on the main floor of the library. One of our copiers is an MCard copier, which allows you to deduct your copies from your ITCS computing account. The other two copiers take copy cards for payment. Copy sizes of 8.5" x 11" and 8.5" x 14" are 10 cents per copy and 11" x 17" copies are 20 cents per copy. A self-service copy card dispenser is available to purchase a new card as well as to encode a previously purchased card. The card costs 50 cents and may be purchased with a $1, $5, $10, or $20 bill. Malfunctioning copy cards may be taken to the Art, Architecture & Engineering Library Circulation Desk or the Graduate Library North Circulation Desk for re-encoding or replacement.
Microfilm Duplication
The University Library can duplicate microfilms that were created by the University of Michigan. The cost is $62 per film plus postage. Please contact the library by phone (734-764-2512) or by e-mail (music.library@umich.edu) if you are interested in obtaining a microfilm that is held by the Music Library.
Digital Reproductions
If you wish to obtain a copy of a Music Library item that is out of copyright, the University Library's Interlibrary Loan Department can provide you with scanned images of the item. Non-University of Michigan patrons can place a request for a digitized copy in two ways: you may request the item through your institution's Interlibrary Loan department (be sure to indicate that you'd like a digitized copy), or you can fill out our online request form. See here for estimated charges. Please contact the Music Library by phone (734-764-2512) or by e-mail (music.library@umich.edu) if you have questions about this service.
