We want your old video games!
The University of Michigan Art, Architecture and Engineering Library is developing an academic research collection of computer & video games. This unique resource is a usable archive that gives researchers hands-on access to the broad and diverse history of video games, from the pioneering consoles of the past to today's multimedia interactive experiences.
Help us by letting us know what games and equipment you would be willing to donate. We are interested in computers, displays, consoles, controllers and all kinds of games in working condition. We are particularly interested in acquiring vintage games and consoles.
Specific needs are listed below, but we are currently interested in games and hardware for all systems and platforms.
If you would like to offer games and/or equipment for donation, please email game.donations@umich.edu
