Announcing a new service, the Shapiro Screening Room!
The University Library is pleased to announce the opening of the Shapiro Screening Room. This is an exciting endeavor for the libraries which was born of a need for a group viewing facility to extend the media viewing services of the Askwith Media Library. Seating about 40, the room accommodates a range of media, including Blu-Ray, multi-region DVD and videotape, laserdisc, and 16mm film. The Screening Room features a multimedia projector, a 100" diagonal 16:9 screen, 7.1 channel surround sound, as well as a computer connection for accessing digital media, software, and the internet.
