Shapiro Floors 3 and 4

These floors of Shapiro are quieter, with windowed nooks and tables among the book stacks.

Known as the quieter floors in the Shapiro Library, these spaces contain a variety of seating types.

Floor 3

May contain quiet chatter. Around the perimeter, large tables are available in windowed alcoves.

Near the elevators, you’ll find a mix of tables and computers as well as the quiet Wu Reading room, which contains various types of seating.

Floor 4

On the fourth floor, the noise level is typically the quietest in the building. Study tables border the floor, and many have windows. Near the elevators you’ll find larger round tables that have privacy dividers to allow for shared use.
